Conducted
validation
to verify that the Rees Central Monitoring System was installed according
to manufacturer's specifications and operates according to the client's
requirements.
The system is equipped with a Pentium III computer, front keyboard, and
LCD display panel that scrolls through the input, showing an overview
of the total system and highlighting the trouble spots. The Rees Monitoring
system was designed to provide continuous monitoring of temperatures in
incubators, refrigerators, freezers as well as critical room pressures
and temperatures.
Validation was conducted to ensure that the computer and all associated
utilities (Printer and Communication Panel) were operating properly. Operational
and performance qualifications were required to determine the accuracy
of the measuring points, alarm identification functions, automated telephone
call functions, and signal acknowledgement functions over the phone.
